Automated and networked mobility in computer science, systems and electrical engineering

Invitation: NFDI4Ing Community Meeting, 3 March 2022, for engineers and researchers in computer science, systems and electrical engineering. Focus: Data life cycle and FAIR principles of data use

As part of the National Research Data Infrastructure for Engineering - NFDI4Ing, the digital "NFDI4Ing Community Meeting" of computer science, electrical engineering, traffic engineering and systems engineering will take place on 3 March 2022. The meeting is organised by TU Dresden under the leadership of Prof. Regine Gerike, Head of the Chair of Integrated Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering at the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences.

The event is about the data life cycle and the FAIR principles of data use - considered on the basis of the topic "Automated and networked mobility". Interdisciplinary between computer science, electrical engineering, traffic engineering and systems engineering, challenges and visions for the future will be discussed and best practice examples presented that make data management tangible. In addition, networking and exchange will be provided.

(The website will be updated continuously).

Overview:

When: 3 March 2022, from 09:00 to ca. 15:30
Where: Online (The link to the conference will be sent a few days before the event starts. Registration is requested!)
Who: All interested parties, especially from the fields of computer science, electrical engineering, transport and systems engineering
What: Topics related to research data management, especially in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering, transport engineering and systems engineering.

The organisation team will be available to answer questions from 08:45 on the day of the community meeting (03.03.2022).

The full-day meeting will take place online and will have a modular structure, so that participants can devote themselves to only one specific field if necessary.

Attention: To avoid misunderstandings, the organising team would like to point out that the CC-41 Community Meeting will also take place on the same day.

NFDI4Ing

NFDI4Ing represents the engineering community. At its core, the consortium NFDI4Ing consists of eleven member institutions. Each member introduces its specific expertise and experience to the joint work programme. Furthermore, the consortium has a great number of participants from all over the German engineering research landscape. All members and participants are part of wider national and international networks. More under: https://nfdi4ing.de/
