Transportation students from Beijing Jiaotong University visit the faculty
As part of their excursion week, around 20 students from the School of Traffic and Transportation at Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) visits the faculty this week.
After students and researchers from the Chair of Railway Track Engineering and the Chair of Railway Signalling and Transport Safety Technology visited BJTU last year, the chairs are inviting their Chinese guests to Dresden and the surrounding area for a varied study trip this year.
The students will attend lectures and laboratory tours at the faculty. The program also includes visits to the German Museum of Technology and Central Station in Berlin, the DB InfraGO Operations Center in Leipzig, the Verkehrsverbund Mittelsachsen (VMS) in Chemnitz, the Fichtelberg Railway in Oberwiesenthal, the DB Museum in Nuremberg, and the Stuttgart 21 transport and urban development project. A hike in the Saxon Switzerland National Park is also part of the extensive program.
We wish our guests many exciting insights and an interesting stay in Dresden!
