tryING: Trial studies in Traffic and Transport Sciences
Trying out studying was the motto of this year's tryIng study program at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences. As part of the program, Eight female high school graduates found out about the study opportunities surrounding the mobility of the future. In addition to a tour of the A320 flight simulator at the Chair of Air Transport Technology and Logistics, the participants were also given an insight into the rail transport of the future by the Chair of Railway Operations.
The tryIng course with a focus on STEM is organized by the Diversity Management of TU Dresden.
tryING is aimed at female high school graduates who are interested in studying engineering but are still undecided. In our experience, many of them doubt, usually wrongly, whether they can do it. With tryING, we want to encourage young women and show them the diversity and attractive career opportunities in engineering.
