Speed Limit on German Highways - Necessary or Pointless?
Germany is the only country in Europe where there is no general speed limit on highways. For some time now, there has been a lively debate about whether a speed limit could make traffic in Germany safer, more efficient and more environmentally friendly. How would this work? Prof. Dr. Jens Borken-Kleefeld from the Chair of Transport Ecology answered questions like these in the NDR Info program "Redezeit". Listeners were able to ask questions, which were answered live by experts from politics, science and business. Politician Helmer Krane (FDP) was also a guest in the program.
